Director
Hello my name is Veronika and I am the Owner and Director of Kids Academy of Copley formerly known as Copley Day Care Center. I grew up in Copley , graduating from Copley High School in 1983 and then earned my BS in Elementary Education from the University of Akron. I worked as a teacher in many classrooms over the years and then moved into the position of Director. I have been married to my husband Jeff for 33 years. We have raised three amasing children and have been blessed, to date, with 8 beautiful grandchildren. In 2005 Sandi, founder of Copley Day Care, and myself purchased the building which is now Kids Academy of Copley. Sandi retired in 2006 but her vision and Veronika's passion, as well as an awesome and dedicated staff, have made Kids Academy of Copley what it is today. A wonderful,caring, positive educational facility for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years.
Jackie
Assistant Director
Jackie graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Child Development from the University of Akron. She is the granddaughter of the founder of Kids Academy (formerly Copley Day Care) and the niece of the current director. She attended Kids Academy of Copley as child and worked as a part of the cleaning staff through high school. During college, Jackie was the floater teacher and spent time in each classroom. After graduating college, she became the ``Hot Shot`` teacher and has now been teaching the pre-school program for nearly 8 years.
Clarissa
Bluebirds / Infant Teacher
Clarissa has worked at Kids Academy of Copley for two and a half years in the infant toddler room. She grew up in Copley and then moved out of state when she got married. Clarissa has lived all over the United States due to her husbands job and has had many experiences. She has raised a son and a daughter and been married for 26 years. She's worked in the Public Schools and also was a three year old preschool teacher. She said it's the hardest job she ever had but also the most rewarding! When her family relocated back home to Ohio, she decided to join our team as the infant teacher and it was the perfect fit for Kids Academy!

Bluebirds / Infant Teacher
Hi my name is Cami Sue. I was born in Pennsylvania. When I was about 11 years old my family moved to Norton and I graduated from Norton High School in 2011. I now live in Barberton with a friend and my dog Bristol. I have two amazing parents and a big brother! I worked retail out of High School and that is where I met Veronika. I was offered a wonderful opportunity to work at Kids Academy of Copley and I have been here for the past three years. I love kids and I love working at Kids Academy. I'm expecting my own little one this Fall and I'm so excited for them to attend Kids Academy too!
Crystal
Floating Teacher
My name is Crystal. I graduated from Copley High School in 2000 and have lived here most of my life. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have three amazing children.. I have worked at Kids Academy part time since October of 2012. I enjoy working with all the children as well as learning with them and about them! All of the children have taught me so much and have shaped me into a better person. I look forward to not only watching my children grow and learn, but being a big part of helping the students in my classrooms learn and grow as well!
Danielle
Bluebirds / Infant Teacher
Danielle graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Communications and a minor in Child and Family Development. She worked at Kids Academy of Copley for 7 years before becoming a nanny for a family she loved. After getting married she headed into the career world using her degree to do marketing. Danielle now has a one year old son and another baby on the way and has come back to Kids Academy where she feels at home and can be with her kids.
Jennifer
Goonies / School-age Teacher
Hi my name is Jennifer! I was born and raised in Copley, Ohio. My parents enrolled me in Copley Day Care Center when I was two years old. Copley Day Care was like my second home and I have fond memories of that experience. After high school I worked locally and then when I was twenty four I went on a vacation to North Carolina and met my future husband. We were married two years later and now have a four year old son. I have been blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom with my son. Recently I was offered a wonderful opportunity at Kids Academy of Copley which allowed me to get back into the work force: yet still have my son near me throughout my workday. I love the children I get to work with everyday and have experienced so much joy being on the other end of the experience I had all those years ago. I have truly come full circle! After being the floating teacher and spending time in each classroom, I have found my home with the Wiggles Class. I love my one year olds! I enjoy watching and helping them learn and grow.
